Liturgy for Prayer for Healing/Wholeness
Prayers for healing/wholeness
Gathering Call
We come to the sheltering of Father, Son and Holy Spirit
In our need and bringing with us the needs of the world.
We come to you, for you come to us in Jesus Christ,
You know the frailty of our human life.
We come with our faith and with our doubts.
We come with our hopes and with our fears
We come as we are, because you invite us to come;
And you have promised never to turn us away.
In the name of the Father,
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Song/spoken:
Your Kingdom come O Lord.
Your Kingdom come O Lord.
Your Kingdom come O Lord.
Your Kingdom come O Lord.
(Russia)
Prayer of Confession
We call on the Father to strengthen and uphold us.
We call on the Son, to forgive and shield us.
We call on the Spirit,
To comfort and direct us
In love and adoration.
Have mercy Lord upon us,
Mighty God of grace.
Have mercy God upon us.
Let us see your face.
Have mercy Christ upon us,
Hear us from on high.
Have mercy Christ upon us,
May we know life in you.
Have mercy Lord upon us,
Spirit set us free.
Have mercy Lord upon us,
Bring us into liberty. Amen.
We share the peace of Christ among us.

Spirit of the living God,
present with us now,
enter you body, mind and spirit
And keep you from all that harms you,
in Jesus’ strong name. Amen.
We end praying:
Glory to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and will be forever. Amen.
Blessing one another as we go (sung or spoken)
God to enfold you, Christ to uphold you
Spirit to keep you in heaven’s sight.
So may God grace you, heal and embrace you,
Lead you through darkness into the light.
Amen
